I've lived in the greater Washington, DC area for fifty years. Assimilated by the Washington, DC universe, I have not tried to escape like so many others. I relishe it for the richness of its music, culture, artistry, sports, industry, and political scene.

This universe is the backdrop of my Soul Reader Series written and intended to save DC and its surrounding area along with the rest of the country. I write in a refuge located in Frederick, Maryland, fifty miles north of DC, just outside the reach of political demons. Frederick relies on the I-270 government escape route in case of attack.

I retired from coding after forty-five years. commuting the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) as I worked in high tech. I'm an elder in my church, and my wife Sue and I are very active in local church life. We have five grown children and twelve grandchildren. I'm is also a jazz enthusiast.
